It's 1946 and the Circus is in Town. Well... at least Section 1 and part of Section 2 of the Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus Train has arrived.

First came the Advertising car to arrange the Advanced Publicity, the Flyers and the Posters. The newspaper Ads were placed and everything made ready and then they were gone.

Even before the Big Top came down and even before the last performance was finished, they were already dismantling, packing and loading the many wagons, carts, animals, canvas, poles, stakes and equipment that wasn't needed for the last performance or for final tear down. Sometimes a section was loaded and was pulling out even as the cheering growds were still being thrilled and awed by the "Greatest Show on Earth.

It's a case of 'The more you see, the more there is to see." The Circus and Trains just seem to go together. The performers, the roust-a-bouts, the animals, the rail cars and the "...children of all ages" all work together to make up the tapistry called the "Circus". The Circus had the loading and transporting of itself down to a science and even as the last performance at one stop was being held, it was already on the way to setup for the next show at the next stop. It was all timed to arrive just as it was needed and it has just arrived at it's next destination, Robert (Bob) Trueblood's 30 inch x 12 foot HO modular display of Section one and two of the 1946 Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey's Circus Train...

The Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus Display Module is one of the featured layouts on the Anderson portion of the Layout Tour of the NMRA Midwest Region's INDY '95 Convention June 9th, 10th and 11th in Anderson Indiana.

It is open from 6pm to 10pm Friday night June 9th and Sunday afternoon from 12 to 4pm at the same location as Roger Hensley's ECI railroad.
