Al Kohut is modeling the Pennsylvania and B&O in HO scale. To do the area that he is modeling, there is a need for mountains and coal mines. This is not a 'how to', it is simply photos showing the beginnings and the ends, cardboard strips and screenwire.

Ok, with the last shot, you could call this three mountains and a hill. I just liked the contrast of the finished section and the raw plaster.
