An N scale layout featuring Dave's own freelance railroad called the Midwest Central. This railroad is currently in the process of "purchasing" his former Bud lines Railroad which was his model railroad in a previous location. Dave wrote several articles about this railroad in Model Railroader Magazine back in the 1970's. He has 500 feet of track with hidden staging yards that can hold 21 trains. The longest run of track is about 190 feet. He is able to operate 3 trains at one time and because of the era he has chosen, he operates both steam and diesel locomotives. He has chosen a specific date in time, June 6, 1954 to be represented by this railroad. Dave's layout is well sceniced and includes part of a typical Indiana town that includes about 55 buildings.
