On Nov 1, 1998, Al Askerberg The photo is of "Big Mack," my O scale 1/4"=1' 30-inch narrow gauge Mack Bulldog switcher built upon an HO mechanism. The bulldog noses were cast by a friend in resin. The frame details and cab were built up from sheet styrene plastic by myself. The flat was built from scratch from sheet styrene. The scene is the yard throat at Thurtee on the OTSL. The orange blob in the background partially behind the tree is a 1:64 truck climbing the hill about 12" behind Big Mack.
We did the Hoosier Connection in April 2001 and gave these LBF donated cars out as door prizes. It seems that most people never build special conventiopn cars, but I did build mine.
